The Challenge🔗

News platforms demand speed, SEO visibility, and an engaging content experience. The site needed to handle content-rich articles with dynamic visuals while maintaining instant page loads and strong search engine rankings. Additionally, the editorial team required a flexible CMS that wouldn't slow down their publishing workflow.

Our Approach🔗

We chose Next.js 14 for its advanced static generation capabilities — every page is pre-rendered at build time, delivering exceptional speed and SEO performance. Sanity CMS powers the backend with a carefully modelled data schema that makes content organisation effortless. The user interface was built with MUI, creating a polished, modern aesthetic with a unique dynamic theming system: the site's colour palette adapts to match the hero images within each article, creating a visually captivating experience that changes as readers explore. The entire project is open-source on GitHub and deployed via Vercel for seamless continuous integration and automated deployments.
