Gemali’s kitchen, a culinary haven for food enthusiasts, was meticulously crafted using a powerful technology stack comprising NextJS 12, Firebase, MUI (Material-UI), and Motion Framer. User authentication is seamlessly integrated via Firebase, enabling effortless Google Login. This secure authentication empowers users to curate personalized recipe collections by saving their culinary favorites and contribute to the platform’s vibrant community by adding their valuable ratings.

Gemali’s diverse recipe collection stems from two primary sources: meticulously curated recipes created and managed within the Contentful platform, and a sophisticated recipe API that aggregates culinary delights from the vast expanse of the web.

To ensure users can navigate this treasure trove of recipes with ease, I implemented Algolia, a cutting-edge search technology, delivering instant and highly relevant search results.
