I recently had the opportunity to work on a web development project for a client operating a Chiropractic clinic situated in Hanham, Bristol. The project involved creating a statically generated website tailored to the client's needs.

For this endeavor, I opted to utilize Contentful as the Content Management System (CMS) to empower the client with easy content updates and management. Gatsby was my framework of choice for building the website, leveraging its speed and efficiency for static site generation.

To ensure the integrity and security of the website's codebase, I opted to host the project's source files on a private GitHub repository. This approach facilitated seamless version control and enabled collaborative development if needed.

Furthermore, to optimize the development workflow and streamline the deployment process, I implemented continuous integration (CI) into the project. This automation ensures that any changes pushed to the repository trigger an automated build and deployment process, minimizing manual intervention and reducing the potential for errors.

Currently, I am undertaking a migration of the existing Gatsby project to NextJS 13. This strategic decision is driven by the desire to harness the capabilities of NextJS 13's novel app layout features, promising enhanced performance and user experience. This migration reflects my commitment to keeping the website technologically current and leveraging the latest advancements in web development.
